Neurodiverse-Affirming Therapy for Anxiety, Self-Esteem & Perfectionism

You don’t have to get it “right” here.

Black Magnolia Counseling provides neurodivergent-affirming, LGBTQ+ inclusive, compassionate care for young professionals and adults experiencing anxiety, stress, chronic overwhelm, women’s issues, attention and processing challenges, and the feeling of not being good enough.

Serving North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Wisconsin & Tennessee.

You’ve been working so hard to keep it all together—juggling school or work, relationships, and everything in between—while your own needs get pushed to the back of the closet. The pressure to be “good enough” is exhausting, and despite trying your best, you don’t feel your best.

You don’t have to keep doing it alone.

I’m here to help you untangle what is underneath the stress, self-doubt, and overwhelm that’s been weighing you down so you can work towards living a more content, calm life you enjoy.

At Black Magnolia Counseling Services, I offer a supportive space for individuals navigating stress, anxiety, self-doubt, low self-worth, and life transitions. Whether you’re a college student facing the pressures of emerging adulthood or an adult trying to quiet your inner critic, we’ll work together to move toward clarity, balance, and empowerment.

I’m a therapist for individuals who are tired of feeling like they have to keep it all together all the time. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, burned out, or disconnected from yourself, you don’t have to keep pushing through alone. I help clients slow down, tune in, and start making sense of what’s really going on beneath the surface. We’ll look at patterns like perfectionism, people-pleasing, or chronic self-doubt not as personal failures—but as learned strategies that once made sense.

I also support clients with ADHD and autism, helping them manage executive dysfunction and better understand the emotional and daily-life impacts of their neurodivergence with greater confidence and self-compassion.

If you’re ready to step out of survival mode and start living more intentionally and authentically, I’d love to support you in that process.

Why Try Therapy?

Short answer is - you deserve it.

Therapy is a safe place to talk about any and all of life’s challenges. It is a great resource for anyone feeling “stuck”, wanting more out of life or needing someone to talk to. It could be a particular problem, struggling with symptoms interfering with your life or wanting help to process your thoughts and feelings. You don’t need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Therapy allows you to learn more about yourself, explore deeper into your feelings & thoughts as well as discover ways to cope with stress, anxiety, or whatever troubles you.

Virtual therapy
makes it easy.

Virtual video sessions (also known as telehealth sessions) allow you to still get the therapy you’re looking for without having to leave home or take the extra time to drive to the office.
